About

I work at the intersection of integrative health, contemplative practice, and educational programme design.

Background

My path has not followed a single discipline. I am a qualified psychotherapist and craniosacral therapist, a certified mindfulness teacher, a programme designer, an author, and the director of non-profit educational organisations. What connects these roles is a long-standing conviction: that the inner life of children and youth — their capacity to feel, to focus, to relate — is not separate from their education. It is education.

My professional path began in health and contemplative practice. I trained as a psychotherapist and as a craniosacral therapist (BCST), and I became a certified mindfulness teacher (IMTA-CMT-P). These were not detours — they were the foundation. Working with the body, the nervous system, and the mind in clinical and therapeutic contexts gave me a level of understanding of human regulation that shapes everything I do, in education and in my clinical practice alike.

My personal engagement with contemplative and Buddhist traditions spans more than twenty years. It was partly through this practice that I came to discover mindfulness and its secular applications — initially in the UK, through early work in schools facing real difficulties. What I found was that the evidence was strong, the need was urgent, and the structured methodology to bring this into education in a rigorous, secular, and educator-led way did not yet exist. That became my work.

Since 2015, PEACE® has grown into the most widely implemented mindfulness-based programme in French schools, now reaching 35,000+ young people across 950+ schools in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Quebec, and Dom Tom territories. I continue to teach, to train educators, and to develop new frameworks — including WISE UP, our European mental health and digital wellbeing programme, our emerging UK work through Befriend Your Mind Education, and, more recently, a small clinical practice offering craniosacral therapy in London.

Why PEACE® exists

Rooted in health. Expressed through education.

Most educators who bring mindfulness into schools come from teaching or psychology. My starting point was clinical — the body, the nervous system, the lived experience of stress and regulation in a therapeutic relationship. Craniosacral therapy teaches you to listen at a level of subtlety that most educational approaches do not reach. Psychotherapy teaches you that what happens in the room between two people is shaped by what each of them carries. These are not peripheral influences. They are why PEACE® is designed the way it is: not as a relaxation technique, not as an add-on, but as a genuine framework for the development of socio-emotional capacities in children, youth and the educators who teach them.

Organisations & recognition

I founded and direct EUNEOS, the organisation behind WISE-UP's deployment in France, and AMLE (Association Méditation Laïque pour l'Éducation), the founding French non-profit behind PEACE®. PEACE® training and eLearning are delivered through AMLE in France and through Peace Mindful Education Canada across Canada and Quebec.

I co-founded and contribute as an expert to Initiative Mindfulness France, a think tank advising French public institutions on mindfulness in health, education, and justice.

Across all of these contexts, what matters most to me is not title. It is transmission: creating approaches that remain rigorous, practical, and alive as they move through educators, institutions, and cultures.
